I can appreciate making a kid feel special, but can I just say – that it has gotten OUT OF CONTROL! Please don’t get me wrong. I love matchy-themes, cute decorations, and most importantly making kids feel loved. But how did birthday parties get so crazy?!?!
I admit my kid's..1st birthdays were home-based ones and I was obsessed (still is) to make it a perfect themed one!! Also, 1st birthdays can be easily controlled and budgeted because your kids don't have yet... that much friends!!! And Honestly, it's also a wonderful way to boost a child's self-esteem and create fond memories, yet without feeling it birthday parties also can take a toll on parents' finances, time and mental health!!!

Okay..let's face it... those birthday parties are really tempting!!!
Extremely well tailored, organized, and looks super awe...yet at the same time, they're also adding lots of stress raising the bar so high and the budget even higher!!!
Honestly, I would definitely throw 1 of these big parties, but I'm putting it off for way later.. Don't believe it is suitable for my kids early years...when they are still too young to value or appreciate what we are trying to do for them...not when at the end of the day all what they care about is having fun and running like crazy!!!?
Moms YOU still have a choice. Throwing a simple, non-themed or super basic theme birthday doesn't make you a bad parent!!!
