I can't remember why.... we weren't a dedicated bedtime story-readers for our son ever since he was a baby! It could be: cause we didn't establish a bedtime routine for him, or maybe as first-time parents we weren't sure he would be interested, or just because we were lazy!!
In all cases we terribly regretted not doing so...

However it all changed last Christmas when I got him these 2 amazing gifts from Create my book (better late than never! NO?)
WHY?
These great PERSONALIZED books makes your child feels like a STAR..Reading all about HIM and watching his excitement building up thanks to this SMART idea and beautiful illustration pushed us to be more dedicated to storytelling time....

PS: NOW you can also add your Child's picture!!

This is how delighted and excited he was with his NEW personalized stories
Now, We all know how critical reading is to a child's BRAIN development— reading with your kids will improve their vocabulary, fluency, oral language, and many other reading skills.

"Then come's an important question: "What’s the most important trait you’d like to develop in your child?"
If you’re like most parents, intelligence is probably your #1 trait. I mean, every parent will wish & want to have bright, and smart children.... which is why we spend so much time choosing the right schools and always questioning about their teachers and their teaching methods. However, we must also remember as parents.... We have the power to boost our children's learning potential simply by making books an integral part of their lives."

Now, I have to sadly admit....There are some nights, where we are so exhausted that it is very tempting to say, “Can we skip reading tonight?” After spending all day working, cooking, cleaning, entertaining kids, etc...
So the next night we try to make it up to them by reading 2-3 stories at a time :)

And they learned to enjoy their stories everywhere and anytime :)
By starting and committing to this new bedtime routine, every night we triggered our kids to enjoy listening attentively to each story that's filled with endless adventures... It is also very delightful to see them get excited about reading and learning!

So if you haven't started reading for your little ones or still not sure if reading even for your baby is a good idea then here's a recap why you should:
1-  Hearing your voice stimulates an interest in sounds and helps your baby develops a listening skills.
2- No matter what's your baby's age, reading together is a great opportunity for cuddling and bonding.
3- By developing a regular reading routine from the start, books will become a natural part of your child's day — one that he'll associate with fun.
4- Reading to your kids helps build vocabulary, stimulates imagination, and improves communication skills.
5- Repetition is good because it helps your child build language skills.
