Was all the reviews over-rated? Was it worth it? and above all..would I go again?
Well first of all allow me to share with the few who haven't been there yet...some cultural history of this magnificent place...
ARNAOON is a 300-plus year old village that existed during the Ottoman days and its name stood strong throughout the years keeping its geography rising on a hill-top overlooking the historic Msaylha Fortress along the Batroun Highway, North of Lebanon. The villagers back then decided to defend the glory of Arnaoon and refused to give it away to the Ottomans.
Arnaoon team also decided to cherish this heritage by reviving the old ruins and beautifying the landscape rendering it a heart-pounding venue that fully caters to all sorts of occasions and FAMILY events..
My friends told me if I like to join them as they booked to go on GOOD Friday and I said yes why not...I'd love to try a spiritual experience! However, I wasn't prepared for such an amazing hospitality, super friendly staff, breathtaking scenery, and above all super yummy and tasty food!
And because Arnaoon management believes in giving back to it's community and in order to encourage a united spiritual and holy experience with respect to the true meaning of GOOD Friday the entire EVENT was complimentary!!
Yes you read it right!!
Humbling Mass!
Yummy Feast!
Indoor Playground!
Outdoor FUN!
YET... I can honestly say:
we enjoyed our long and fun day at Arnaoon Village....It was such a lovely experience full of good memories, good time, & lots of family bonding and fun!!!
