Now, the challenge is finding a suitable and affordable Hotel... Last weekend was a long one, and just like many Lebanese Families, we were on the look out for a Family getaway!
All the hotels were fully booked, and the other options were as high as $200/night for just Bed and Breakfast!
Finally I came across Rabiya Marine Hotel. I called and the nice receptionist informed me they do have an available room for $110/night including Breakfast and pool access. Extra Bonus she didn't charge my kids!! We definitely booked it.
I had no expectations, since online reviews and photos posted varied from 1 member to another. However, here's my own review and experience!
Gated Hotel has a security at the door, and huge parking space! The hotel's Lobby is spacious, yet you can sense the time that passed on this place from it's furniture! Lovely ladies greeted us at the receptionist and warned us from the danger of the balcony!

Our room was on the corner with an all around private balcony, and oh my the view from up above is just breathtakingly beautiful and compensates for everything else.
The place needs maintenance and security especially for families with kids! Balcony door switch was broken and balcony rails were extremely scary and dangerous!
Another downsize I called to request extra 2 towels for my little ones however since they're not charged for I don't get any extra. Toiletries were also limited in terms of quality, quantity and variety!
Free WIFI is available.
Another amazing feature is the huge walk side overlooking magnificent views of the Mediterranean, basking into the wonderful sunset, while watching people enjoying endless options of their favorite hobbies such as:
fishing, or playing tennis (2 Outdoor tennis courts available) & basketball (court) riding bikes or simply jogging around.
I saw on the brochure hotel has a health club with saunas and a gym but I missed seeing it! However, there was something fun and interesting for all ages!
What I loved about Pool's regulation:
- FOOD and drinks are forbidden all around the pool (thus entire area was constantly clean and no flies or bees flying all around)
- Kids with floaters (even with their parent's supervision) must swim on the shallow part behind the rope.
- LONG hair must be always pulled up.
Lifeguard was always walking around making sure everyone was respecting those rules.
