Lasagna Bolognese

Lots of times we wanted to cook something Good and NEW besides the weekly stew and rice meals, yet we found ourselves running short out of time!
So imagine my delight when I was able to throw this lasagna bolognese dish in minimum time :)


At first I was feeling so guilty for choosing the quick and fast way out. but when it came our of the oven and we tasted how good it was all my guilt feeling faded away!!

Ingredients:
  • 2 Medoum size chopped Onions
  • 250 gr of Lean Meat (no fat)
  • Oil
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup of water
  • Box of White or Green Lasagna

Béchamel:
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk, warmed
  • Pinch of freshly ground nutmeg & salt
OR
​USE READY MADE Bechamel Mix by MAGGI (follow instruction on the back)

Directions:
  • Heat olive oil in a large heavy pot over medium heat.
  • Stir in Onions until golden color
  • Add Ground Beef
  • Once all cooked add spices
  • Add Tomatoe Can
  • 1 cup of water
  • stir all and once boiling lower heat for another 10 minutes
  • set aside

Assembly:
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Coat a 13x9" baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread 1/4 cup béchamel in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Top with a layer of Lasagna, spread Bolognese sauce, then add béchamel.
  4. Repeat process 2 more times, (or as desired)
  5. Top it with Mozzarella Cheese. 
  6. Bake lasagna until bubbling and beginning to brown on top, 35–45 minutes.
  7. Let lasagna sit 30 minutes before serving.
