Few weeks ago, we've decided to treat ourselves for a well-deserved family getaway after an intensive and stressful 3 month lockdown.

We wanted a quite area up in the mountains, clean with fresh air, and no worries about social distancing or Covid-19.

Our eyes fell on Farmvillebarouk and I'd love to share our personal family experience with you!

Farmvillebarouk

First of all allow me to explain the beautiful concept of this project.

Farmville Barouk is a family owned business and their objective is to support the Shouf community by developing and promoting sustainable tourism with innovative ideas in Rural, Agri and Eco tourism.

Venue

This beautiful farmhouse is a part of Cezar's project located on an agricultural land next to Cezar guesthouses in the enchanting Barouk village. It is designed to function around an authentic typical farming lifestyle where you can pick your own vegetables and fruits from the organic field, feed the animals, collect eggs and finally enjoy an mesmerizing musical night around the bonfire while enjoying the company of your loved ones.

Wooden Farmhouse

We opted for the wooden family farmhouse that is surrounded by a huge green terrace overlooking the Shouf Biosphere mountain.

The farmhouses can easily accommodate up to 6 people via their 2 separate bedrooms which each includes 2 separate beds in along to 2 extra mattresses. Other amenities includes: common seating area, bathroom with standing shower and hot water, fully equipped kitchenette, free WiFi, BBQ Grill with coal, and private bonfire.

The place is literally surrounded by fresh air, wide-open green space (that was our main objective especially for our little ones) along to enjoying the peaceful, and natural sounds.

Breakfast & Activities

Our little ones woke up very early and they were extremely excited to pick up their own eggs and harvest their own veggies for our  organic and very mouthwatering breakfast!

You will amazed by the warmth and hospitality of the lovely people and the way they all work together with lots of love and respect.

Things to Do around!
