It was such a delightful experience that I had to share it with you.
This amazing worldwide concept was first found in Bruges, and is located in 6 different countries; Brussels, Prague, Paris, Mexico, and New York and it is dedicated to all the chocolate fans around the world to give them the opportunity to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience.
Both parents and children were introduced to the history and the concept of chocolate, starting from the cocoa farms and the cocoa trees till the process that the seeds undertake to become the sweet chocolate bars that we can't resist eating. We dived back in time, to the Mayan and the Aztec civilization and the Spanish conquest and learned the full story behind how chocolate is made.
Our little ones enjoyed face painting, took pictures with the Chocolate Bean Mascot and the giant snake, and danced around.
We tasted different types of chocolate and tested the amount of butter used in each.
Finally, and once the tour ended and we all felt like chocolate experts, we went to the upper floor and started our 2nd phase of this marvelous experience.
Making our own chocolate bars!!
For 1 hour parents had the chance to enjoy a wonderful bonding time with their little ones as they both indulged in making their our own chocolate shapes while tasting all the delicious chocolate together.
