OLD hideous and almost falling apart kitchen!!
When we 1st moved to our house almost 9 month ago, we were given only 1 week notice to hand in our old one!!! We thought changing a "kitchen" would be as easy as changing a bathroom or painting the walls!! So we quickly started our shopping tour only to be mocked hard by all the vendors... painfully, we discovered "kitchen renovation" requires up to 2-3 month!!!
Thus, after we moved in and settled down we decided to postpone as much as possible... But the existing hideous and almost falling apart kitchen wasn't helping much..so early this year we started our new shopping tour and we actually visited up to 6-7 places before we settled on the most suitable option!! It fit all our criteria....Budget -service -quality!!  By Mother's Day we signed our contract and by Father's Day we had our New kitchen delivered :)

NOW...let me break it down for you and  share how we divided the process along these 3nonth!! If you are interested in remodeling your kitchen while living in the house with your family of young kids then be ready!!!
Stage 1 "Kitchen Renovations": Duration: 1 month!!
We had to totally remove entire old kitchen almost 2month prior to delivery...that is entire cabinets and shelves were emptied and placed elsewhere... and old kitchen thrown  away!!! Then the company retook kitchen measurements to proceed with manufacturing this phase took a week!! Luckily we decided to stick new floor and wall tiles on the existing ones and only covered 1wall that took another week (should you opt for total change you will literally need 1month In-which you'll have to evacuate the house!!)Then we had some minor changes to do...rebuild a new wall divider between laundry and seating area room...electricity wiring.. remove kitchen door to be re-scalped so it can slide over new added floor tiles... we changed aluminum windows, attic door and frame & finally painted entire kitchen!! All this work took a period of 1month, with daily different workers (as per each project) spending entire day working at our house 5days/week!!!

Stage 1: removing old kitchen - electrical wiring - wall & floor tiles installed
NOTE: Lots and lots of white dust, never ending cleaning, kids had free access to the kitchen with all the electricity wires exposed and tools scattered all over the place..it was extremely tiring and nervous breaking phase!! Lots of patience and energy required, yet you will break down at some point!! The other tiring factor was distributing our old kitchen  all over the house...Balcony and my NEW & never used dining table was all covered with kitchen food, utensils, appliances and stuff! Dishes occupied my WC!!
Luckily my in-laws were in Lebanon for the vacation & they covered the cooking for an entire 1 out of 2 month!
The 2nd month was covered by left overs, eating lots sandwiches & can food, & ordering delivery!!!

STAGE 2: KITCHEN Delivery & Installation:
Finally, by mid June we started final stage.. our kitchen was delivered on the 18th..which was also 1st day of Ramadan & although workers were fasting yet they were super professional and polite.. They took entire day to unload included going up 5stairs for the non elevator parts!! 2nd day a new team came and they installed the cabinets...weekend break!!!

Phase 2: Install part 1 of the Kitchen (Cabinets - shelves & Spot Lights)
Then was our turn on the 3rd visit to install new for counter-top (required 1/2 day) by yet another team!! We needed another 3days to continue wall tiles and covering empty spaces In-between the cabinets... Another weekend break before the last phase arrived!! Final teams of workers took an entire day 1st team installed all electrical supplies, shelves, cabinet doors and covers and fine tuned everything, 2nd team checked all electrical appliances and they teach you how to clean and operate it all!! Then they cleaned everything after them before our kitchen was complete!!

STAGE 3: Cleaning & Re-organizing:
Of course we had to do our own cleaning...and the hardest final part was returning back all the kitchen stuff, figuring out how to organize everything and making the kitchen look neat & spotless!!
That took over a week & work still in-progress!!
